Two students, Zoe Papadopoulou and Cathrine Kramer, of London’s Royal College of Art have been working on a project called The Cloud Project. The idea is that artillery cannons attached to the top of an ice cream truck fire aerosolized nanotechnology (I know, I’m lost at that point too) into clouds, essentially seeding them with flavors so that when it snowed, the snow tasted like strawberry ice cream.
It’s a really interesting idea. I’m not sure how it will be pulled off, but it sounds magical.
