Sasquatch Music Festival at The Gorge in Washington might be our favorite festival to attend. For one, it is a drop-dead gorgeous setting with the main stage on a cliff overlooking a beautiful gorge (thus the name). Also, the weather is usually wonderful (despite the occasional rainstorms and the infamous hailstorm). But even more, the people there, both attending and working are incredibly gracious and laid back. Imagine going on a camping trip with tens of thousands of friends.
The fest began in 2002 with a small one day lineup that featured String Cheese Incident as the headliners. It has since grown into one of the premier fests in the country, expanding to three days and featuring headliners ranging from Nine Inch Nails to The Beastie Boys to My Morning Jacket.
Always a good time, we love Sasquatch!
