Whew! We made it out. We had a whirlwind first day with our crew out in ATX for SXSW. Every year we go big in Austin, giving away thousands of free ice creams during our biggest event of the year. This year, we’re going bigger than ever.
Thanks to Roku, Hurricane Party, Ben & Jerry’s and Popsicle we will have 20,000 free Cherry Garcias, Americone Dreams, Airheads pops and more to cool down the folks meandering the streets and partying down.
Our first day was a smash, with Bessie and Beau cruising by Ignite (where Ice Cream Man gave a talk), Tweethouse,Stubb’s, Honkfest, 6th St. and more. In the coming days we’ll be making even more stops and will be deploying a pair of push carts to get to those hard-to-reach-by-van areas.
