Monday was a great day. I had just enough planning and luck to pull off one of the biggest give always yet. The week before I made my first stop of the LA campaign at the office building that housed Fremantle (American Idol folks), EMI Music, Lions Gate Films, and MTV. Not having the slightest idea what I was doing I walked right into the
Property Managers office and she told me everything I needed to do to successfully get my movie into these entertainment folks hands. So I was prepared.
I had also been working with some contacts at Universal Records (Thanks Dave) and Interscope Records (Thanks Andrea) one block down the street. So when I pulled up to the building I was surprised how friendly everyone was. Especially the super nice guy in charge of the very small parking area in front. Giving away ice cream can occasionally be scary. When the line gets 40-50 people deep, and your not sure how much ice cream you have, you just have to smile and go along with it. Luckily I made it out A-Ok and everyone got their share. Almost got myself on The Today Show through this.
