Ice Cream Man

Stunned in amazement tonight at Perry Sean Smyre, I stand lost for words. The Album Leaf’s use of specular illusions combined with the subtle sounds of the guitar, violin, and piano became a gradual build-up of harmonies to release my deepest thoughts. My drug of choice is music, it is a way for me to step back from reality and re-cap the week by sorting out everything that appeared to be overwhelming and stressful. Jimmy LaVelle’s hypnotizing instrumentals served as a sedative for my restless mind.
