The fun part of having a backlog of photos is that when we don’t have anything new to post I can dig around and find some photos from past events that never made their way up.
These pics were from a while back at Last Saturday in Downtown Long Beach. My friends that run Open Books on Linden asked me to stop by and sling some cream while Year Zero, Greater California, and a couple other bands played. It was nice to stick around my hometown of LB for while and hang out with a bunch of friends.
If you’re in Long Beach, or are down for cool events in the LA area, you should sign up for Open’s email newsletter. They had a couple great shows last weekend with Free Moral Agents, Ray Barbee, Look Daggers, and Coaxial with Create(!). Damn… that’s some good stuff. They’re working on opening a large ballroom in the back in then next few months too which will be a great place for shows. Keep a look out for the new Koo’s too. They should be reopening soon with some great shows.
