Ratatat and Prince forever! When I first saw them a couple years back that’s what they wrote down when I asked them for their autograph. They have definitely come a long way since then. Back then they weren’t even headlining, now they sell out the Troubadour weeks before the show!
Ratatat is a perfect blend of hard rock, hip hop, and electronica. They’re one of those bands where seeing them live is a completely different experience than listening to their recordings. Their records don’t do them justice. They are truly a sight to see and hear live. From there high power strobe lights to their projection show, to their stage antics. For this tour they also recruited The Double‘s keyboardist to play along with them. Any fan of rock, hip hop, or electronica should check out Ratatat.
