Wow. So… Good times were in abundance the night Levi’s and Paper magazine put together their extravaganza at the Roxy(http://www.theroxyonsunset.com/)+ in Hollywood. Since Ice Cream Man was unavailable that night, I had to put on my 501s and roll up in Bessie with David in tow. This particular night [Ima Robot and Airborne Toxic Event were playing after a good old fashioned shred off.
By the time we arrived, the Shred For Your Life competition had started, so David went in to start shooting pics. I was manning the truck so I stayed outside and started slingin’. Luckily Steph and Rachel were there to assist, so things went a lot more smoothly.
I had a long day that day and was feeling pretty sleepy, so I chose to stay at the truck all night with the people while Steph and Rachel went inside to check out the bands. This decision didn’t seem so bad with all the entertaining people partying outside. In fact, while outside, Jesse Effin’ Camp came for some cream. I thought that dude was dead a long time ago.
There were plenty more famous faces inside checking out the bands, and most everybody seemed to walk away happy, so it seemed to be a pretty successful event. After all the bands played, things seemed to peter out, so we headed back home to Long Beach. Lovely.
