John Campbell’s delightful Pictures For Sad Children is best read from the beginning, but this is a great one off that also lines up with some of my sentiments.
I think the beauty of it is summed up in one of his first posts (and I’m paraphrasing because I can’t find the actual post) saying that he picked the name so when people ask what he does he can lean in close and whisper: “I draw Pictures For Sad Children.”
