The Bad and the Ugly
47 year old drunk father of two , Daniel Sullivan stormed the stage during Noel Gallagher’s “Morning Glory” guitar solo and bum rushed him from behind. Noel fell onto the speaker wedge while Sullivan was tackled trying to reach Liam Gallagher and led away. The crowd of 20,000 waited in stunned silence as the band appeared after 5 minutes and finished a shortened set. Noel was rushed to the hospital afterwards where X-rays confirmed 3 broken ribs and a bruised hip. Oasis had to cancel 6 weeks of concerts including a scheduled appearance at Terminal 5 in NYC following the attack. Sullivan awaits his second court appearance in December.
