To no one’s surprise, or terrible disappointment, Amy Winehouse will not appear at Coachella this year. Due to legal issues in being charged for alleged assault at a show, Winehouse will not be able to obtain a working visa in time for the festival.
Rather than play her headlining slot in Indio, CA, Winehouse will testify against Sherene Flash’s allegations to tabloids that Winehouse punched her in the eye after requesting a photo with the pop star.
To anyone who is slightly bummed about Winehouse’s absence, as I was, rest assured that the set list will offer a more productive investment of time.
