The lineup for the Austin City Limits Festival will be announced on April 28th but the tickets are already on sale for what promises to be an excellent event for anyone who can appreciate good music. Hosted in Austin, Texas, this three-day event from October 2-4 is only $185 per ticket (compared to Coachellas $269 three-day passes) and will provide over one hundred bands. For a little taste of what ACL might have in store, in you can read our review of the 2008 festival which gathered up such revered bands as:

If that hodgepodge spread of musical delight isnt enough to tickle your taste buds, maybe Austin City Limits commitment to offsetting their CO2 emissions, using bio-diesel generators, and selling BeGreen Fan Tags with every ticket (which will buy you 300 kWh of renewable energy credits) will get you going.
