Here’s an important rule. Never stand up an external hard drive. Even if they give you a little plastic piece to put it on it’s side, always keep it flat. On Easter, while I was cleaning up and rocking some music via itunes (with catalog being on ext hard drive) it tipped over and now it’s kaput. So…. for today’s Song of the Day, I only had a small handful of tracks to choose from. And, the one I’m choosing is one I’m prolly not supposed to share. eeks.
We Are Dios (aka Dios Malos or just Dios) hail from Hawthorne and Long Beach and have been making music for a handful of years with moderate success. It’s been a couple years since their last album and in that time they purchased an old tape machine and headed into the studio to self record an album of new material by themselves. The first track off the demo, which I’m going to call “Epileptic Tunnel Vision” is a mix of all things great from Hawthorne, Long Beach, and rock n’ roll. The rest of the album is solid too. When I first got it it didn’t leave my CD player in Bessita until I listened to it all the way through at least six times.
We Are Dios needs a label if anyone knows anyone who migth be interested. You can check out some of thier older tunes on their myspace but keep an ear out for some more new ones, I like them even more.
We Are Dios – “Epileptic Tunnel Vision”
Had the song originally titled as “Never Let You Know”, fixed now
