Fleetwood Mac are best known for their monster hits, mostly from their huge album Rumours. But give the followup Tusk another listen and you’ll figure out that with Lindsay Buckingham taking the reigns, they weren’t the mainstream band they’re known as. A great example is “What Makes You Think You’re the One.” Buckingham’s voice changes pitch about a hundred times throughout the song, making an eclectic sound reminiscent of Talking Heads and that can still be heard in the likes of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
