I’d heard of Local Natives but it was Jeremiah who insisted I check them out. Apparently they’re an LA band and that’s about all I know. My friend Jackie books them so that’s a good sign since she’s helps a lot of bands I dig, like Delta Spirit, Elvis Perkins, Ghostland Observatory, Cold War Kids, and more.
I was intrigued after the first listen. When “Shape Shifter” came on while spinning the record the second time I realized I was into their album, especially this song. Give it a spin and keep a look out for them on the road. Think things are gonna be picking up for them in the near future
