Vanessa and I didn’t cover the actual Coachella festival, but what we did do was bring a funky pair of 70’s woodshop-teacher style glasses with us without any real agenda. What it turned into was getting photos of over 300 new friends (including Devo and Pavement) wearing them. It was a great social experiment to see how each person channeled something different when they put them on. It’s also a great cross section of the Coachella audience, which in itself is amazing.
