For the last couple years a friend in New York has been working on a film about the lottery system that exists to get underprivileged kids into charter schools in New York City. The Lottery follows four kids and their families as they try to win a chance to get a better education. It bring to light the debate going on now with our current educational system and raises awareness that reform is needed so everyone has a equal opportunity to excel in school and go to college.
