Last month, Ben Jaffe of Preservation Hall Jazz Band along with Mos Def, Lenny Kravitz, Trombone Shorty and actor Tim Robbins got together for a late night jam session calling themselves the Gulf Aid All-Stars and recorded a cover of the Joseph “Smokey” Johnson and New Orleans jazz band standard “It Ain’t My Fault.”

The song was released today on iTunes and all proceeds will be going to the Gulf Relief Foundation to support organizations focused on wetlands/coastal environmental issues and the regional seafood industry.

New Orleans and the Gulf area are a big part of the Ice Cream Man travels, so we encourage everybody to do what they can to support cleanup efforts and help to keep businesses alive in the area. This is an easy way to do a little bit and get a good song out of it.
