In its first year, Chicago’s North Coast Music Fest is trying to make its mark early. Held at Union Park over Labor Day weekend (September 3-5) the fest should be a big hit.
The initial lineup is pretty strong and diverse. From Jam bands to Hip Hop to Electronic to Rock the fest should have a little for everyone. Plus it’s a beautiful location, we’ve been to Union Park for Pitchfork many times and can attest it’s a great place for a fest.
If you can make it out, you really should. Early bird tickets for all three days are only $75 right now. There are no more early bird tickets, but you can still get single day tickets.
Go here for the full lineup which includes The Chemical Brothers, Nas & Damien Marley, Umphrey’s McGee, Moby, De La Soul, Cold War Kids and a bunch more. (update: looks like Cold War Kids are out, bummer)
