In support of her debut album, Suburban Nature, Sarah Jaffe has been hitting the road. In Spring she toured with Norah Jones, who recently graced us with a Road Trippin’ with Ice Cream Man performance. This summer she’s been supporting Lou Barlow before he heads off on tour with Dinosaur Jr. Then, this fall it’s back on the road, this time with Midlake. Quite the busy lady!
The last stop of the summer tour is coming tomorrow in LA at the Bootleg Theatre. Jaffe has a folky, ethereal quality to her music backed with raw instrumentation. Think Mazzy Star meets Cat Power.
