This weekend, come out to Newport, RI for the Newport Folk Fest. We’ll be there slingin’ for the second year in a row. It’s a blast!
I think Newport Folk Fest is the best lineup for a festival all year, based on size. Also, it’s small (under 10k peeps), it’s at historic Fort Adams in Newport so the weather is cool and awesome. and… it’s historic, been going on for over 50 years and so much history there… Dylan going electric and all. Tickets are reasonable too, starting at just $30. Jim James/Yim Yames will be playing and sitting in with numerous bands. Also… Elvis Perkins just got added.
We’ll be slinging backstage for all the workers. Not much we can do for the folks inside, but if you see us around, stop and say hi!
