I couple months ago I was in Portland, Oregon for Musicfest Northwest and I stopped by Tangible Worldwide to say hi to Matthew Gamlen, our buddy who edited the original Ice Cream Man movie from Ashland. I brought along some ice cream and ended up leaving with all kinds of cool stuff including a few copies of a super-cool Portland poster.
One of the best things I stumbled upon at Tangible was their Grabba Beast project where you can create your own monster in a near-unlimited amount of variations. You can see my dude there on the right, I call him Groovy Mover. There’s over 19,000 beasts created so far. You create your own at www.grabbabeast.com or take a peek at the 19,000 that have already been made. After you’re done you can share your beast, get a poster made, or download a wallpaper for your screen. How cool would it be if you could make a one-off vinyl figure or find an easter egg that would let you add even more random or wacky things to your beast, like ice cream or popsicles in their paws.
