I’ve spent the last couple weeks running around town hanging Christmas lights for people. A strange job to be sure, but one that gets me a little extra money for the holidays. Of course, being around all this holiday cheer lends itself to earworming some horrible, horrible Christmas music.
Now I can alleviate some of that, thanks to British folk-pop duo Slow Club. December 14 they release their Christmas EP Christmas, Thanks For Nothing. A mix of old and new songs that will surely get you into the spirit.
They just finished touring North America, but will be hosting their third Christmas party back in London at Union Chapel on December 22.
Maybe next year they’ll play our Xmas Party in Long Beach (ah, if only).
