When I was writing the piece the other day about all the street art stuff going on around LA I found a post on lataco.com about a Kids Krazy Krafts Day this Saturday. The two things that really grabbed my attention (besides the flier just being pretty awesome) was that it was in Carson (close to Long Beach!) and that it’s at The International Printing Museum there.
I hadn’t heard of the museum before but checked out their site and it looks really cool. They even have an etsy store with all kinda of stuff in there, including a three-color circus poster print pulled from some really old woodblocks.
If you’re free from 10-3 tomorrow and want to do something that’s fun for the whole family, head on over, there’ll be Papermaking, Cartooning, Printing Presses, Mini-tours and more!
