I apologize in advance, I’m not too familiar with most of the bands. And my seventeen year old daughter didn’t help me out either. She did not have any tracks to listen to from any of these bands. And sure enough, I didn’t have to time to head over to MySpace and listen to the tracks there…

Prior to the show, Spoon was the only band I had any desire to see. And I’m glad I did. However, Modest Mouse (w/ the addition of Johnny Marr on vox and guitar) peaked my interest in the band some more I was bummed that I missed the Mouse at the Treasure Island gig in October however the wait was worth it. They owned the night with their simmering,
intense, and energetic set. They let us stay in the pit for eight songs. Thank you, Thank you.

What can I say about Angels & Airwaves? The drummer was perched on a four foot riser. I loved it. And the crowd loved this band.

It was hard to gauge Jimmy Eat World when you only get two
songs in the pit (and the first two songs were f-cking short.)

I saw Paramore twenty years ago when they were called Berlin. However, I loved Berlin & Missing Persons, and this band reminded me of them. Lots of energy. I got kicked in the head from a body surfer. Briefly lost my memory.

I Missed Maldroid. Traffic coming into SF was murder.
