While heading to a party to sling cream a couple years ago at SXSW I spotted a Cookie Monster Pinata for sale and slammed on the breaks and instantly made him my mascot for Ice Cream Man’s 2006 tour. He traveled all over the country in Bessie with me and never once complained about the living conditions. I’m not sure exactly what he ate but, with all that free ice cream on board, he somehow never got fat.
While searching for some tunes to play via NPR’s website I found this interview with Cookie Monster that made my day.
