The night began with the San Francisco based band, Still Flyin, whose high energy, large numbers, and dance-y reggae sound seem to melt away any care or worry from the crowd. I am not very big on the reggae scene, but I think Still Flyin will soon become the best thing to happen to reggae since Bob Marley.
Architecture in Helsinki, hailing from Australia, lived up to every hope and dream I had. There are very few bands who can switch instruments from song to song or even in the middle of songs as AiH does. And as they played out dream after dream they seemed more like a family than a band. They would often look to each other and express their love and joy with a simple smile.
We got a few pics of Dr. Dog too. Anybody want to fill in some words?
