Northern California band Mother Hips, that I listened to a bit going to high school in Folsom, CA, are heading up their second annual fest in Big Sur from April 30 & May 1.
It’s at the Fernwood Resort which was one of the places Sarah and I stayed on our honeymoon, and I can attest, it is awesome. They have some great walking/hiking trails, nice small cabins in the forest and a super awesome bar & grill.
The other artists set to perform include Jackie Greene, Little Wings, Dawes, Neal Casal (The Cardinals), Farmer Dave Scher (Beachwood Sparks, All Night Radio), Elisa Randazzo (The Red Krayola), Parson Red Heads, Nicki Bluhm, Red Cortez, and Sparrow’s Gate.
The area is beautiful and if you can make it there for that weekend, it should be a great time.
