Sunset Strip Music Festival today announced their 2010 Street Fest headliner: Smashing Pumpkins.
The full lineup will be announced soon, but it should be a good one. Following a Slash tribute event on the 26th (invite only) and night shows on the 27th, the street opens up on the 28th for the street fest with bands, food trucks, and all you expect from a festival (probably including too few toilets).
Tickets are on sale tomorrow, June 17th.
General admission – $49.50 in advance / $65 day of at box office
VIP admission – $100 in advance / $130 day of at box office
VIP includes access to VIP tented area with private, no-host bar and views of west stage.
A portion of all ticket sales will benefit Los Angeles Youth Network, a California not-for-profit organization whose mission is to end homelessness, one kid at a time, by providing shelter, food and counseling for the abused, neglected and abandoned.
Tickets will be available online through Ticketmaster.
