I’ve always thought “Under the Milky Way” was one of the great underappreciated songs of the ’80s. In fact, I think The Church were pretty underappreciated here in the US in general. I spent a good deal of the mid-’90s listening to Priest=Aura. Of course, The Church never caught on here in the States like they did in their native Australia, where they were recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame there, but now, they’re coming back to let folks know what they were missing.
The Church return to the USA this February for their “Future Past Perfect” tour. This event continues their 30th Anniversary celebrations by performing three classic albums in their entirety in one night: Untitled #23, Priest=Aura, and Starfish, in selected cities.
