Two of my favorite things are finally coming together. Usually you get good beer OR good music, not both. The Portland Mercury decided to solve that problem with the first annual Malt Ball. A dozen bands from Portland will take the stage tomorrow at Bossanova Ballroom where they’ll be joined by even more local breweries. Some of the breweries even made special beers for the bands.
