Week Six of Road Trippin’ is drawing to a close and we got some good ones for you.
First up, episode 11 at Pitchfork festival. Located city center, Chicago, is up there in our top 3 favorite festivals of the summer with a line up of the best independent talent around and a totally chilled atmosphere. This week it was indie favs, The Antlers and Vivian Girls who stopped by backstage for truck side performances and Ice Cream Man sets a new world record for most ice creams handed out whilst pogo-sticking!
Then we got episode 12. It’s a jam packed episode with Plants and Animals performing “Feedback in the Field” and headliner, Wayne Coyne, from Flaming Lips stopping by the truck to sling cream with Ice Cream Man. After watching Times New Viking kill it at “Bitchpork” (unofficial after show party) we asked if they’d stop by the truck next day to play us their new tune “No Time, No Hope”.
